In this 10th syndicated episode, MR. LOBO (with some help from TWILIGHT ZONE creator ROD SERLING, providing the narration) presents the made-for-TV movie based on VON DANIKEN'S CHARIOTS OF THE GODS that was the pilot for IN SEARCH OF... It seems there are those who believe that life here began OUT THERE and that these brothers of man will return to Earth when the Myan calendar runs out in 2012 or whatever. Presented with with sci-fi movie trailers, vintage TV commercials, drive-in snack bar ads, Mr. Lobo's interview with BATTLESTAR GALACTICA star RICHARD HATCH AKA, APOLLO, ZAREK, a vintage BOB WILKINS interview with STAR WARS star ANTHONY DANIELS AKA C-3PO, and the usual mess of retro low-budget late-late-night TV fun. “Four stars! Since the 70's, the horror movie host has traveled down the highway of extinction. Until now! Cinema Insomnia is a wonderful example of new blood(pun definitely intended) coming to the rescue!”
